My childhood days were pleasantly spent on the island of Sylt, just below Denmark, where I played on the beach, walked the dunes and heather, bicycled along fields of wildflowers, and helped my grandfather with the garden.

Now I live on Quinteˆ¢s Isle, close enough to Sandbanks Beach, and walk in the dunes and paths with wild berries and fringed gentian.

In between, there were the Toronto years studying Art at Central Tech under Doris McCarthy, working as a commercial artist, then BFA studies at Queenˆ¢s, a teaching degree in Visual Arts, and some time painting & teaching on the sunny island of Antigua.
